Beyond the box

I'm someone who has watched closely as incredibly talented, brilliant people waste their lives. Waste their gifts — never harnessing their superpowers, never giving what they have to the world, never optimizing their potential. Being handed favorable cards is not enough. What are you doing with them?Explore it freely!

Beyond the box, within the selF

Hope isn't a "nice to have." It's the one positive emotion that only shows up when things are hard or uncertain — which means it's exactly what you need when life feels stuck. The good news: hope isn't a personality trait you either have or don't. Research shows it can be learned, activated, and practiced. That's the work I do. Not vague affirmations. Not one-size-fits-all frameworks. No templates. No generic five-step plans.A custom-built path to your best possible future self — grounded in real tools, real psychology, and real accountability. If you're ready to stop managing the same old patterns and start updating the model, you're in the right place. I work with individuals and couples who are done circling the same problems and ready to build something different. My approach pulls from humanistic theory, positive psychology, drama therapy, and strengths-based, action-oriented interventions — not because more tools are better, but because no two people need the same map. Together, we figure out what's actually running the show underneath your habits, your relationships, and your stuck points, and we update it. This isn't therapy dressed up as coaching, or coaching that avoids the real stuff. It's an integration: the depth to understand why you're stuck, and the concrete tools to actually get unstuck. We'll build a framework that fits you so you leave sessions with something to do, not just something to think about. The goal isn't to help you cope. It's to explore with you to heal, grow, and go beyond whatever box you've been put in — including the ones you built yourself.

Andrea Szucs, LCSW, RDT-BCT, SIFI

Andrea is a Hungarian-born American coach, psychotherapist, and educator. She's spent her career on one question: how do we get people more of what they want, and less of what they don't. Her coaching is informed by two decades in rooms most coaches never sit in. Andrea is a psychotherapist in group private practice in Manhattan, working with couples and individuals. She's adjunct faculty at Fordham University's Graduate School of Social Service and a lecturer at Columbia University School of Social Work. She's trained the people who train therapists. That depth means one thing for you: this isn't theory borrowed from a book. It's clinical rigor, applied through coaching, with the goal of integrated transformation — not just insight. Coaching with Andrea is not psychotherapy and doesn't require a clinical diagnosis. If you're looking for therapy, ask her for more details.
